This Privacy Policy describes how Meltimer ("we," "our," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account, we collect basic authentication information (such as email address) through Firebase Authentication to enable cloud save and sync of your progress, streaks, and preferences across devices.
Usage Data
We may collect information about how you use the app, including which focus modes you use, session durations, and completion rates, to improve app functionality and your experience.
Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements, which receives anonymized purchase and subscription data to determine your active plan.
Advertising Data
Meltimer displays ads through Google AdMob for free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. Users on a Premium subscription do not see ads and this data collection for advertising purposes does not apply to them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain core app functionality (timers, cloud save, streaks)
- Process and manage subscriptions
- Display and measure advertising for free-tier users
- Improve app performance and fix issues
- Respond to support requests sent to support@meltimer.com
3. Third-Party Services
Meltimer uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) – authentication and data storage
- Google AdMob – advertising
- RevenueCat – subscription management
- Apple App Store / Google Play – payment processing

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above, solely to provide app functionality.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@meltimer.com.
6. Your Choices
- You can use most of Meltimer's core features without creating an account.
- You can disable ad personalization through your device's ad settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Meltimer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
